Questions parents ask

Is TallyTot really free?
Yes. Logging feeds, diapers, sleep, pumping, solids, growth, medicine and temperatures is free, and so are two-parent sync, the doctor-visit summary, WHO growth percentiles and your baby’s recap. There are no ads and no daily limits. Tracking stays free — if we add a paid tier later it will be for extras like premium post templates, never the basics.
Do both parents need their own phone?
Each caregiver uses TallyTot on their own phone (or in a browser). One parent sets up the baby and shares a 6-letter invite code; everything either of you logs shows up on both phones in seconds, credited to whoever logged it.
Our baby is already a few months old. Is it too late?
Not at all — TallyTot was built for late starters. Answer a few rough questions (how you’ve been feeding, feeds and diapers per day, who did most of the night feeds) and your recap counts everything since day one. Estimates are clearly marked and never appear in the doctor summary.
What does the doctor-visit summary include?
Daily averages since your last visit or for the last 7 or 30 days: feeds per day, nursing minutes per side, bottle ounces (breast milk vs formula), pumped ounces, wet and dirty diapers, total sleep, naps and the longest stretch, solids tried, plus the latest weight, length and head size with WHO percentiles. It also flags things worth mentioning, like pale stools or a fever. Share it as a PDF in one tap.
What is the TallyTot recap?
A full-screen, Spotify-Wrapped-style story of your baby’s stats — diapers changed, gallons of milk, hours asleep, the Mom vs Dad diaper scoreboard, your baby’s favorite time to eat, a “baby personality” and a summary card. Share any card to Instagram, TikTok or Messages, save them all for a carousel, export a video with music, or send grandparents a link they can watch in their browser.
Does TallyTot work offline?
Yes. Every tap is saved on your phone first and syncs when you have signal, so nothing is lost in a dead zone at 3am.
Is TallyTot on iPhone and Android?
TallyTot works in any browser today (add it to your home screen), and the iPhone and Android apps are rolling out now.
How is TallyTot different from Huckleberry, Sprout or Nara?
Those are excellent trackers — Huckleberry is the leader for sleep predictions, Sprout and Nara are beautifully designed. TallyTot keeps tracking, partner sync and doctor summaries free, credits every entry to the caregiver who logged it, lets you start late, and turns your data into shareable recaps and milestone posts.
